How to upload your company's templates to the Reforge Extension

Overview

The Reforge extension creates the first draft for the most important docs within the tools you use every day (Google Docs, Confluence, Notion, Coda, etc). It can generate PRDs, Roadmaps, Briefs, GTM plans, Project Plans, Onboarding Docs, and more to help accelerate you and increase your impact.

To use it you open the Extension by clicking on the Reforge logo (usually in the bottom right of a tool like Google Docs:

Then select the option that helps to draft a document for you:

It then lists all of the documents that you can create with the help of the extension:

Once you select an option and answer questions specific to that type of document, it will generate a draft for you that you can copy and paste into your document, or ask the tool to make revisions.

Add your company template

The Reforge extension can also create a draft of any kind of document given your company's template. For example, if your company has a PRD template that requires an explanation of how a feature ladders up to key initiatives or pillars, that can be a section that the Reforge extension drafts for you and customizes with the expertise and vocabulary of Reforge.

To upload your company's template, please email hello@reforge.com with a blank version of your company's template (in PDF, or a link to a shared version) and the team will load it into the system and it will show up for anyone who is on your company's account. It will not be visible to other users within Reforge.
