What is the time commitment of a Reforge Course?

On-Demand Courses:

Reforge on-demand courses can take anywhere from 2 to 6-weeks to complete. These are inteneded to be part-time courses, taken asynchronously on your own time and in tandem to the work you are doing and the problems you are aiming to solve. You don't need to take time off from work to participate — we designed each course to fit alongside your current work and personal schedule.

However, we also believe that you get out what you put in. The value that you and your company get from the course is directly correlated with the amount of time and participation you're able to dedicate to the experience.

To get the most out of the course, you should expect to spend between 3 to 5 hours per week on course material:

• 2 - 3 hours on course material
• 1 - 2 hours applying frameworks and community participation

Our most successful participants typically spend about 8 hours per week total. They set aside additional time each week to:

• Connect with other participants via the Reforge Member Slack
• Review what they learned with co-workers and managers
• Apply the material to their product or directly the problems they are aiming to solve, most immediately.

Live Courses:

Live Courses, which are administered within one of our biannual Cohorts, range from 4 to 6 weeks. While all of the above remains true for Live Courses as well, the way they are administered is slightly different than our On-Demand courses:

• One 90-minute live session per week
• 2 -3 hours of written content to read through and digest between each live session
• 1 -2 hours participating in disuccion forums within the Refroge Member Slack
