Team Plans: Getting Started for Plan Managers and Team Members

📌 In this article: how Reforge team plans work, who does what, and how to get your team set up, whether you manage the plan or you're joining one.

What is a team plan?

A team plan gives a group of people access to Reforge under one subscription. It includes everything in an individual membership, plus centralized seat management and team engagement data. Plan managers also get access to Learning Plans and Reporting, which individual members don't have.

For current plan options, see reforge.com/pricing. To talk about a team plan, get in touch.

Roles on a team plan

  1. Sign in to your Reforge account at edu.reforge.com.
  2. Go to the Team Members page.
  3. Select Manage Invites.
  4. Either add email addresses under Add New Users and select Send Invites, or select Copy Link to share the invite link directly.

Each person receives an email with an invitation. They need to click the button in that email to join, rather than signing in directly. See How do I assign a seat on a Team Plan?

📌 Tip: invite people at the email address they'll use to sign in. Mismatched emails are the most common cause of duplicate accounts and login trouble.

Step 2: Make sure your team can sign in

Reforge sign-in uses Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or an emailed code. Some companies need IT to approve Reforge as a third-party app before their team can sign in. If your team sees a message about needing approval, use this email template to send to your IT team, and see Creating Your Account and Logging In. If your company uses single sign-on, see Reforge SSO Implementation.

Step 3: Assign learning with Learning Plans

  1. Open Learning Plans.
  2. Choose a Learning Plan you would like your .
  3. Assign it to team members. For larger teams, you can bulk upload users with a CSV file.

Team members receive an email notification, and the plan appears on their My Learning page. You can also edit a plan or unenroll a team member at any time. For step-by-step instructions, see Learning Plans.

Step 4: Track engagement with Reporting

Reporting shows team metrics such as course enrollments and completions, time spent on learning, and content engagement. Use it to see what your team is working on and where they could use a nudge.

Renewals and seat changes

  • All seats on a team subscription renew on the same date.
  • Individual memberships can't be transferred. If someone leaves your company, email hello@reforge.com to reassign their seat to a new team member.

Joining your team's plan

Finding your assigned courses

If your Plan Manager has assigned you a Learning Plan, you'll get an email, and you can find it on your My Learning page. If you have more than one, you can search and filter them.
